Inventory Analyst:

The Inventory Associate has a vital role between the Procurement Department and the Operations Department. The Inventory Associate is a detail-oriented position, responsible for keeping track of inventory and ensuring accurate inventory data. This role requires a multi-task-minded person with superior organizational skills. If you like your day to be filled with various challenges, work with several departments, and love a challenge, this job is for you. This job requires both physical stamina to perform physical inventory confirmations as well as periods of desk/computer work.

Work Schedule: 
Monday - Friday, hours are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. 
Occasional flexibility to work additional hours may be required.

Hourly Range:

$20 - $22  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Managing inventory by confirming and cataloging raw materials 

  • Responsible for creating records/transfer requests for both Bay 1 and Bay 2  

  • Counting and recording of inventory in the interest of helping to reduce waste, cut down on unnecessary expenditures, and maintain a steady supply of raw materials

  • Responsible for accurate counts/weights on any returning inventory from Bay 2 to Advance 

  • Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company's standards 

  • Responsible for accurate counts/weights on sitting inventories for all bays/locations 

  • Create and maintain positive relationships with all customers 

  • Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate misrepresentation of inventory levels 

  • Responsible for the organization of Bay 2 raw materials from transfer truck to production (and back again) 
  •  
  • Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
  •  
  • Responsible for production record entry of Bay 2 finished goods/license plating finished pallets/organization and prepping finished pallets for transfer
  •  
  • Researching the accuracy of product details
  •  
  • Responsible for check-in of raw materials into Advance (COA's present, physical inspection, etc

It is the responsibility of all employees to carry out and continuously practice proper GMPs and food safety protocols. 

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the role include: 

  • 2-3 years of inventory management and/or data entry experience 

  • Proficient communication and organizational skills 

  • Computer Proficiency

  • Attention to detail 

  • Availability to work flexible hours as required  

Physical Requirements and Plant Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to standing for prolonged periods; frequently walks, grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working and handling products, computers, or machinery. The employee is subject to assistance and support up to 50 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on an as-needed basis. The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate the equipment if required. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and non-moving mechanical parts. The employee could have work conditions that are extremely cold or extremely hot. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
